D. Chris Cothern PT
Chris has bachelor’s degrees in Health Sciences and Microbiology with a minor in Psychology, a master’s degree in physical therapy, and a Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Chris has been helping people return to their life with pain in knees, shoulders, backs/necks, ankles and more since 1999. During that time, Chris has treated and trained athletes from major college, NBA, NFL, and the Olympics. Chris is a certified Performance Enhancement Coach and certified Corrective Exercise Specialist with NASM along with Functional Movement Screen and Selective Functional Movement Assessment certified. Chris was a member of the Arkansas Governor’s Council on Fitness and also the past Arkansas state director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Chris is currently pursuing a master’s in High Performance from Australian Catholic University. Chris and his wife Katherine have three kids: Evan, Elliott, and Adeline.

Born in Alma, Vicky began as a physical therapy aide in a Fort Smith outpatient clinic before becoming a physical therapy assistant. With over 23 years experience, Vicky is a personable communicator with a proven track record in all areas of rehab including therapeutic exercise, balance/fall risk, manual therapy/myofascial release, kinesiotaping and more.
Business Office/Physical Therapy Aide
Terri assists with front office to schedule patients and assists the therapists to ensure a great experience at AthletePlus. Terri is the mother of Sarah Elkins who is a senior college basketball player at UAFS, a former state champion at Greenwood, and currently works as an aide in the summer at AthletePlus. Sarah is graduating with a degree in biology and pursuing PA school.
