I guess my opinion on crocs will have to change. Besides thinking they are not “cool”, I felt they could not be good for my feet. They looked like those “jelly shoes” from the past , with no support for your feet. But numerous articles have praised the Crocs for their ability to decrease foot pain.”These shoes are especially light,” says Harold Glickman, DPM, former president of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). “They have huge room in the toe that affords the front part of the foot lots of room, especially for people with bone deformities like bunions and hammer toe. So What Should You Do?
Ask your doctor or physical therapist if Crocs might be appropriate for you. Continue to wear them if you are not having pain or symptoms, but do not overuse them.
I started my physical therapy in a significant amount of pain. After a couple weeks I stopped taking pain medicine because I was experiencing so much relief from pain. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. Every visit was a positive experience.
My experience here was amazing! I had great service and a speedy recovery thanks to AthletePlus!
I’ve loved my experience here. The staff was MOST EXCELLENT. Buena and Rodney were mostly my helpers. Both were attentive, respectful, and professional. You have a staff that you should certainly be proud of. Thank you for helping me. I appreciate everything you’ve done to help get me back to my Life.
Very professional and kind people who answered each question I had throughout the Low Back Program
I almost didn’t come back after the first week of therapy because the pain was so bad but I’m so glad I did. My experience was so good with all of the therapy assistants. I felt they were very caring.
Fantastic. I came in with back pain and what I would have thought was major back instability. I think my results have been more than I could have ever imagined. My back pain is usually a zero now and I am not afraid to get back to the things that I want to do. The staff is great. Every person gives you what you need, they can all answer any questions you may have. Would it be weird to say I am going to miss this place!
“Thank you Chris and the AthletePlus team for all your help in getting my knee back to “normal”. I can use it again with ease and no pain”
I was really pleased with the service at AthletePlus. The staff is professional and helpful. I felt comfortable asking any questions about the therapy and anything related to my injury. I felt at ease getting advice on how to adapt the routines so I could do them at home. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone.
It was amazing that I walked in with such pain and weakness that I thought I was going to be on disability and the next step was a wheelchair. After 18 weeks of work with the trainers, I feel that I have a new expectation that I can do anything.
Great experience. Always felt motivated to work my hardest and knew that the therapists were truly caring about my recovery.
