AthletePlus would like to congratulate Fred Ridgeway on becoming a Master Massage Therapist, which means he has completed a minimum of 125 hours of continuing education and may instruct massage therapy courses. Fred is committed to learning about the human body so you can Feel Better, Move Better, and Live Better.
AthletePlus is also happy to announce a new treatment called “MAT” Muscle Activation Technique by our Master Massage Therapist, Fred Ridgeway, “MAT-JPT”
“MAT” Muscle Activation Technique, was developed by Greg Roskopf and is recognized in the athletic world. The Roskopf Principles focus on muscle contractile efficiency relative to limitations. “MAT” trained therapists perform CAM (Comparative Assessment of Mobility) testing to evaluate mobility, compensation patterns and to identify positional weaknesses. Isometric exercises are then used to re-stimulate weak muscles for more efficient contraction.
Previously you would have to drive to Dallas or OKC for this treatment, but now is available at AthletePlus.

Very helpful! It gave me the ability to return to my sport as soon as possible.
My experience at AthletePlus, was the best. They helped me be more flexible and a strengthening my hip.
It was a good experience and it really help me during the exercises. I was treated and helpful and I will come back.
they defiantly helped me get my knees back to where i wanted them and even make them stronger.
Very professional, kind people who answered each question I had throughout the program. The program was challenging, yet possible for someone with my injuries to complete. The E-Stim sessions seemed to help, also. I completed the exercises I was directed to do at home each day to strengthen my back.
Professional staff who are concerned about their patients. Also best program ever.
I almost didn’t come back after the first week of therapy because the pain was so bad but I’m so glad I did. My experience was so good with all of the therapy assistants. I felt they were very caring.
I was a good experience at learning new abilities. It made me a lot stronger and I fell like it made a better athlete. In basketball a lot. I thought I was a lot of help for me.
Extremely helpful in helping my recovery from my injury. They were able to provide a program that helped me progress as smooth and quick as possible.
It was amazing that I walked in with such pain and weakness that I thought I was going to be on disability and the next step was a wheelchair. After 18 weeks of work with the trainers, I feel that I have a new expectation that I can do anything.
